Tampa Bay Blueberry Festival – April 30 and May 1 – Part 1

by Nicole Lee

I have the best boyfriend in the world. He’s sweet, caring and willing to do things for me that he wouldn’t normally even consider. The Tampa Bay Blueberry Festival and wine tasting? Definitely one of those things. We pulled in Sunday afternoon to the Keel and Curley Winery in Plant City for the fourth annual Blueberry Festival. There were quite a number of people there, it was a scorching 90-something degrees and I was we’d taken a hike to get from the parking area. But that was totally alright with us.

Scott’s dad joined us for our little adventure. Everything from blueberry shortcake with ice cream, live music and a whole list of wines I would never have come across otherwise. There were approximately 40 vendors of all different flavors set up and we had a great time tasting, wandering and enjoying the beautiful May weather Florida was so graciously sharing.

More photos and the rest of the Festival events to follow tomorrow, but for now enjoy the following. :)

  1. Excellent set of images and great lighting. Wine tastings can be dangerous :P

  2. I AM SO JEALOUS OMG. How on earth did I not know about that when I was living there?!
